How We Use Your Data

• Personalize AI responses — your profile and conversation history make Human OS sharper for you.
• Improve the service — we analyze aggregate usage patterns (not individual conversations) to make the product better.
• Maintain your account — authentication, subscription management, support.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on encrypted servers hosted by Hetzner in Germany. Germany has some of the strongest data protection laws in the world. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Data Retention

Your chat history is kept until you delete it. You can delete individual conversations or your entire history at any time from within the app. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers.

Third Parties

We work with a minimal number of third parties. Here is exactly who touches your data and why:

• Qwen API (Alibaba Cloud) — processes your messages to generate AI responses. Messages are sent to their API and are subject to their data handling policies.
• DuckDuckGo — used for web search functionality when the AI needs to look something up. Search queries are anonymized.
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, crash reporting, analytics, and push notifications.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — handles all payment processing. We never see your credit card number.

That is the complete list. No hidden analytics SDKs. No ad networks. No data brokers.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access — request a copy of all data we have about you.
• Delete — permanently erase your data from our servers.
• Export — download your conversations and profile data.
• Correct — update or fix any information in your profile.

GDPR Compliance

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data is stored in Germany, processed with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account.

KVKK Compliance

We comply with Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK — Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu). Turkish users have the same rights as GDPR provides: access, correction, deletion, and the right to object to processing.

Children's Privacy

Human OS is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we discover we have data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the bottom and notify you. We will not quietly reduce your privacy protections.

Çocukların Gizliliği

Human OS 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklar için tasarlanmamıştır. 13 yaşın altındaki birinden bilerek veri toplamayız. Böyle bir durum tespit edersek, verileri derhal sileriz.
