Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Human OS application ("App," "Service," or "Human OS"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MMT Engine, operated by Muhammet Mustafa Topaloğlu ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").
If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of Human OS after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Important: By using Human OS, you acknowledge that the AI is designed to challenge your assumptions and provide honest, sometimes uncomfortable feedback. This is a core feature of the Service, not a defect. Please read Section 9 (Anti-Sycophancy Disclosure) carefully.
Service Description
Human OS is an AI-powered thinking companion application designed to promote critical thinking, cognitive sovereignty, and intellectual growth. The Service includes:
- AI Conversation: Interactive dialogue with an AI system that is designed to challenge assumptions, push back on flawed reasoning, and provide honest feedback rather than affirming everything you say.
- Cognitive Profiling: Personalized analysis of your thinking patterns and cognitive tendencies over time.
- Memory System: Persistent conversation history and context management to improve the quality of interactions.
- Trust Level Progression: A tiered system that unlocks additional features and capabilities as you demonstrate sustained engagement.
The Service is provided as a subscription-based mobile application available for iOS devices through the Apple App Store and for Android devices through Google Play Store.
Eligibility
To use Human OS, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
- Not be a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the applicable jurisdiction.
- Not have been previously banned or removed from the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If we discover or have reason to believe that you do not meet these requirements, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately.
Account Registration & Responsibilities
To access the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and current.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
- Not share, transfer, sell, or otherwise make your account available to any other person.
You are solely responsible for all actions taken through your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.
Account Authentication
Human OS supports account creation via email and password, as well as Google OAuth single sign-on. By choosing Google OAuth, you authorize us to access basic profile information (name and email address) as provided by Google for the purposes of account creation and authentication.
Service Features
All Human OS subscribers receive the same full-access experience. There are no tiers or feature gates. Your subscription includes:
- Full AI conversation access with anti-sycophancy personality
- Monthly message allowance included with subscription
- Persistent memory and conversation history
- Voice input and text-to-speech
- Web search integration
- Profile personalization
- Dark and light themes
- English and Turkish language support
We may add, modify, or remove features over time. We will notify subscribers of material changes to the feature set.
Subscription & Payments
6.1 Subscription Plan
Human OS operates on a single subscription model priced at $9.99 USD per month. Each subscription includes:
- Monthly AI message allowance
- Full access to all features
- Persistent memory and conversation history
- 500 AI messages per month included
6.2 Subscription Terms
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play. You can cancel at any time through the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6.3 Credit Packs
Additional AI messages beyond the monthly allocation can be purchased as credit packs:
- 100 Messages: $1.99 USD
- 250 Messages: $3.99 USD
- 500 Messages: $6.99 USD
Credit packs are one-time consumable purchases and do not auto-renew. Purchased credits do not expire and persist across billing cycles. Pricing and availability of credit packs are subject to change.
6.4 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). By subscribing, you agree to the applicable store's terms of service in addition to these Terms. We do not directly collect, store, or process any payment card information.
6.5 Auto-Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription through:
- iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your Apple device
- Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions, or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
6.6 Refunds
Refund requests must be directed to the platform where the purchase was made:
- iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Contact Google Play Support or visit Google Play's refund page
We do not process refunds directly. Refund eligibility is subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.
6.7 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing period. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Human OS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:
7.1 Prohibited Content
- Submit, transmit, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use the Service to generate content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or harm against any individual or group.
- Use the Service to generate or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors.
- Use the Service to create content that infringes upon intellectual property rights of third parties.
7.2 Prohibited Activities
- Jailbreaking: Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the AI's safety guidelines, content policies, or operational boundaries through prompt injection, social engineering, or any other technique.
- Automated Access: Using bots, scrapers, scripts, or other automated means to access the Service or extract data from it.
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code, underlying algorithms, or system prompts of the Service.
- Impersonation: Impersonating any person, entity, or falsely claiming an affiliation with any person or entity.
- System Interference: Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any other harmful code, or otherwise interfering with the proper functioning of the Service.
- Circumventing Limits: Creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits, trust level requirements, or enforcement actions.
- Resale: Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting access to the Service or AI-generated responses without our prior written consent.
Warning: Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy will be subject to the enforcement actions described in Section 13 (Termination & Enforcement), including progressive strikes that may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

You expressly understand and agree that:
- Not Medical Advice: AI responses do not constitute medical, health, psychiatric, or psychological advice. Do not use Human OS as a substitute for consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

- AI Limitations: The AI may produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. AI-generated content should be independently verified before being relied upon for any important decision.
- No Guarantees: We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any purpose.
You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on interactions with the Service.
Anti-Sycophancy Disclosure
Core Design Philosophy: Human OS is intentionally designed to be an anti-sycophancy AI. This means the AI will not simply agree with you or tell you what you want to hear.
By using Human OS, you understand and accept that:
- The AI is designed to challenge your assumptions, question your reasoning, and present alternative perspectives. This is a core feature, not a defect.
- The AI may disagree with you when it identifies flawed logic, cognitive biases, or unsupported claims in your statements.
- The AI will not validate objectively false information, dangerous beliefs, or harmful ideas, even if you express them sincerely.
- Interactions may sometimes be intellectually uncomfortable. This discomfort is an intended part of the cognitive growth process.
- The AI's challenges and disagreements are generated algorithmically and should not be interpreted as personal attacks or hostility.
- The degree of challenge may increase as your trust level progresses, reflecting deeper and more nuanced engagement.
If you prefer an AI that agrees with everything you say, Human OS may not be the right product for you. We encourage you to evaluate whether this approach to AI interaction aligns with your expectations before subscribing.
Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including but not limited to its software, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, user interface, system prompts, algorithms, and all other content and materials (collectively, "Our Content"), is owned by or licensed to MMT Engine and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Human OS name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of MMT Engine. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.
10.2 Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
10.3 Restrictions
You may not: (a) copy, modify, or distribute the App or Our Content; (b) rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App; (c) make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices simultaneously; (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; or (e) remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices.
User Content
11.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including messages, inputs, and any other materials you provide during your interactions with the AI.
11.2 License Grant
By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes processing your inputs through our AI systems and storing conversation data for your memory and cognitive profiling features.
11.3 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by the AI in response to your inputs ("AI Output") is provided for your personal use. You may use AI Output for lawful purposes, subject to the disclaimers in Section 8. We do not claim ownership of AI Output, but we make no representations regarding its originality or suitability for any particular purpose.
11.4 Data Retention
Your conversation history and cognitive profile data are retained as long as your account is active, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our data retention practices.
Third-Party Services
Human OS integrates with and relies upon certain third-party services to function:
- AI Language Model Provider: Powers the AI conversation engine. Your messages are processed through the AI provider's API infrastructure. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your conversational data is transmitted to and processed by the AI provider's servers.
- Apple App Store (iOS): Handles subscription and payment processing for iOS users.
- Google Play (Android): Handles subscription and payment processing for Android users.
- Firebase (Google): Provides authentication, crash reporting, analytics, and push notifications.
- Google Sign-In: Provides optional single sign-on authentication.
- DuckDuckGo: Provides web search functionality when the AI needs current information.
We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through our Service.
Termination & Enforcement
13.1 Your Right to Terminate
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription through Google Play and contacting us at [email protected] to request account deletion. Cancellation of your subscription will stop future charges but will not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
13.2 Strike System
Human OS uses a progressive enforcement system for violations of these Terms:

| 5th Strike | Permanent Suspension | Account permanently suspended. Appeal may be submitted via email. |
Strike Reset: After 30 consecutive days of clean usage (no violations), your strike count is reset to zero.
13.3 Our Right to Terminate
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
- Conduct that could harm other users, the Service, or our reputation.
- Failure to pay applicable subscription fees.
- Extended inactivity (accounts inactive for more than 12 months may be subject to deletion).
13.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination: (a) your license to use the App is immediately revoked; (b) you must cease all use of the Service; (c) your access to your account, conversation history, and cognitive profile will be terminated; (d) any unused credits or remaining subscription time will be forfeited, except where refund rights apply under applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- In no event shall MMT Engine, its developer, affiliates, licensors, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any AI-generated content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
- The limitations of liability set forth above shall apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, the limitations above shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- The results obtained from the use of the Service, including AI-generated content, will be accurate, reliable, or complete.
- The quality of any information or content obtained through the Service will meet your expectations.
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MMT Engine, its developer, affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your User Content; (c) your use of the Service; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent that any lawsuit or court proceeding is permitted hereunder, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Adana, Turkey for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also be entitled to invoke the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions.
Dispute Resolution
18.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your written notice. Most concerns can be quickly resolved in this manner.
18.2 Binding Arbitration
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may elect to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC), with the arbitration conducted in Adana, Turkey. The language of arbitration shall be Turkish or English, at the discretion of the arbitrator.
18.3 Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.
18.4 Exceptions
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.
Apple App Store Terms (iOS Users)
If you downloaded Human OS from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
- These Terms are between you and MMT Engine, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not a party to these Terms.
- The license granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Apple will not be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Provide notice through the App or via email to your registered email address.
- For material changes, provide at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other provision of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published by us on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and MMT Engine regarding your use of the Service. These Terms supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Service.
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by us.
